Our first product
Sunne is a modern solar-powered light for your window that harvests energy by day to light your home at night.
Production of the Sunne light was collectively funded by the global solar community through a successful Kickstarter campaign. Sunne was fully-funded within 40 hours and won 3 design awards before it was even produced.
HOW IT’S MADE
The Sunne light is made from one long, curved strip of aluminum. Shaped like the horizon, the curve provides a larger surface area to allow for maximum solar cells.
The solar side of Sunne contains SunPower Solar cells that harvest sunlight during the day, charging the integrated battery to power the light at night.
Sunne is 85 cm in length and hangs in front of your window by two steel wires, through a simple and secure hanging system. No external plug is needed.
Assembled by hand
We assemble your Sunne by hand in Amsterdam after you place the order. The lead time is around 8 – 10 weeks.
Sunne App
By connecting your Sunne to the companion app, you can see how much natural energy Sunne is harvesting at any time.
You can also use the app to change the light settings (sunne rise, sunne light or sunne set) or dim the light.
